Well, headed out on Thursday night for reg.7. By 9:30pm we were at our spot and camp set up! Everyone had a snack and hit the sack!
Day 1:
NOTHING!!!!.......LITERALLY!!!.......NOTHING!!!... .Not even a chicken!! Saw lots of fresh sign, just nothing standing in the tracks!!

Day 2:
Saw a nice Whitetail Buck at about mid-day, got out for a shot with the oldest daughter, but the buck didn't want any part of our plan to work.....and he was off like a streek of hot you know what through the bush!!!

Day 3:
Whitetail Doe opener!!......ahh piece of cake right!!.......NOT SO MUCH!!! Saw 4 Does on the opener.....they had the same plans as the buck from day 2!! After a hard day of driving and yes.....a whole lot of bush wacking! it was back to camp for dinner and a cold one!!
Day 4:
WHAT A CHANGE!!!!.....colder than a witches _ _ _!!!!! Awesome this should get the Deer moving!! And did it ever! I left camp at first light, I got maybe 500m from camp......FLASH OF WHITE!!! Dang it, lost another one! She didn't even let me raise the gun! Oh will, off I go! I get about another 500m down the road and think, "What the hick, i'll start bush wackin from here!" Guess what!?....about 200m from the road I see 3 flashes of whitetails!! They stop but the bush is to thick for a shot! this happens twice more, and the Deer win again!! After a while it starts to warm up.....and the tummy starts to empty! Back to camp I go. After a coffee and a snack we break camp and start for home! we get about 300m from where we were camped and Ashley calls "DOES!!!!....2 OF THEM!!" They were off like a shot!.....and I was in hot pursuit!!! I gave a couple of loud "MAMP....MAMP!!" calls....the lead Doe stops, I raise the gun and she's off again!! MAMP!!! and she stops again!....this time I can see her front shoulder/head neck! through a very narrow shooting lane!......BANG!!! dropped her in her tracks!!! YEEEHHHAAA!!!! Fresh steaks!! It all worked out in the end!! And here she is!! Sorry for the bloody pics!.....not to much water around to clean up!! Thanks for reading and Enjoy!!
