Well went for a morning hunt here in Fort St John...never dropped any big game me and buddy got 12 grouse tho...saw some moose but nothing legal...but the thing that made the morning for me was coming across a caribou...in a region where theres no season...i thought id share a pic if anyone cares...i was pretty surprised...i tried to stalk it for a pic but since it was truckin turned around and circled it and then walked right up to it...im sorry about pic quality turns out there was shite on my lens...

nice to see variety on the trail! We saw a caribou near the sikanni riv but was a bit smaller than the one in your pic. Those chickens should feed a few!!

Congrats on the grouse and seeing the bou. They show up where you least expect them.

Great pics! We used to see caribou in the late 60's close to Fort Nelson. Don't know if that's unusual or not. ( Along the river plateau east of town)

That's neat to see.We saw about a dozon of 'Bou about 8 yrs ago around Halfway river. I guess there still around.

Seen some caribou along the hiway just before the Lily Lake turn off quite a few springs ago, and then a caribou way down the Tommy FSR towards the Nig FSR. They are all over that north country! Nice Pics. Moosin
