I have to put a plug in for Back Country's GPS chips. I bought one for my Garmin that rides in the truck, not a hand held, at the BC Sportsman's Show in Abbotsford last spring. I took it to the Charlottes' last week, see thread in Vancouver Island forum, and I have to say that we were very pleased with it.

You insert the chip in your GPS and it shows where you are and also the elevation contours. Almost every logging road was listed that we were on
such as Deana River Mainline or Spur 20 or what ever they were called by the Forestry. You could scan back and see where you were on the islands and which way you were traveling.

We found it to be invaluable and I would encourage other hunters and outdoor enthusiasts to take a look at it.
