I have an LEH tag for Grizzly in 6-16A Can anyone tell me if the salmon are in the river still/yet?

I was hoping to make this an traditional archery trip. Unfortunately, this trip has been postponed already and it looks more and more likely that my partner and back-up shooter is probably not going to be able to get away - he has all the area knowledge. Rather than cancel the trip I think I'll head up this week with my rifle and have a look see for myself. So any area info would be appreciated.

Where is the closest gas station to Meziadin Lake?

What about good spots to set up camp? I know there is a campground on Meziadin Lk but I'll actually be hunting around Bowser Lake in Zone A.

Fill up in Kitwanga though because in Bell II it will cost ya!!! I think it's about 15 cents more per litre at least!!!

Isn't the Bridge to Bowser washed out? Maybe you already know that?

Good luck on your hunt.

Have a call into the CO office to confirm... that would suck big time!

Bridge is long gone.
A decent network of roads & slashes if you can get across the river.
Not a big fishery out of Bowser as it is glaciated.
I'd think about takin a boat, preferrably a jet leg.

Good luck, there are some piss cutter bears in that country.

There's a reason the odds are low for that draw . . . access isn't what it use to be. Getting late for the sockeye and the waters are high . . . but it's tough to cut a tag sitting on the couch! Look forward to hearing how it went.
