Got my moose!!! [Archive]

Just got home after a fine day of hunting. Started out walking some blocks that I knew held Moose. Nothing but a couple Mule does. Decided to drive and sure enough there was my 2010 leh Bull Moose.Ill try to post a couple more pics tomorrow. WOOOO HOOOOO!!!!!

Excellent Bull. That will be sure be good on the dinner table. My first ever Bull Moose LEH starts on the 15th I will be out the first 6 days of that so hopefully I can have the same success we see you with here. Congrats

Thanks for all the congrats. This is really cool. I shot this bull at 2:30 he was just walking down and old trail. I shot him in the chest (about 80yrds ) with my 300wm. Down he went, then up he got, and ran at me. I thought oh crap this aint good. So I gave him another silvertip and that was the end for him. Oh yeah it was in region 3-18. Moose everywhere!!!!! I even saw a spiker that my buddys going to try and get if hes still around. (sorry bout all the red in the pics)
