don't give up, enjoy your time in the bush, don't worry about success or results

my last "kill" was late Febuary on a coyote I called in. Last "big game" kill was my whitetail buck in late September, before that, it was a deer in October 2003 :) Passed on a few bucks in 2004.

Been a couple years since my last big game, but it still love every minute outdoors. I've past up on a couple animals that just didn't feel like taking, just watched em a while. Have made up for lack of big game, by spending extra time shootin gophers, Crows, the odd coyote, have come too enjoy it just as much as the "trophy" species. Just enjoy this great province bsa I for one don't measure or record stats on game they're all trophys.

This is gonna sound smug  but I got my first bear in 2 years just back on the 30th of April. But like Firebird said no worries any day in the bush is a good day!!

bsa .. hmmm 10/'03 eh ... you're doing not bad ... I believe my last was ... *scratches chin thinking* ... a bear in May of '96 ... played backup a few times but ... as stated ... being in camp or out for the weekend playing ...priceless. ;)

My hunting partners and I have been lucky, but we did get skunked two years ago, it was the first time in about ten years. Last year my partner got one and I got skunked, so I guess it has been two years since I knocked something down.

Three point regressing blacktail on December 2 2005. 17" inside spread. I just wish I had found him the season prior or even the one before that. He was an oldy. Solid grey muzzle, scarred up face, ears full of tear marks and an overall tires appearance. My best blacktail by far.

Hmm.... my last kill was 10 hours ago :D I managed to bag a freezer bear at 32 yards with a head shot from my new to me 45/70. Sorry about the poor picture quality my wife wanted the good camera to take pictures of her flower gardens:confused: I had to use the video camera picture mode. I would have taken pictures of the bear on the ground but it was realy hot and we wanted to get back to camp get them skinned and cooled off.

Last month. Bear. Don't put the guns away. As firebird stated, enjoy the time out there. I have not filled my second tag just so I can still go out.

I got around 1/2 dozen coyotes this spring, as far as big game, shot a 4X3 Whitetail on Nov.20/05 and a 4X4 Muley grosses somewhere around 160 B&C on Nov. 4/05 ( not inc. brow tines on either deer ). Passed up a lot too, but this is mainly due to "house rules". Has to be 4 above the brow to be a shooter. Never got out for anything other than deer locally .....hoping this year will be different:-D .

a quick check of the regs shows 2 pt mulie seasons in November :

~ north of Revelstoke (4-38/4-39)
~ Region 5-1 to 5-15 from Sept 10 to Nov 20
~ up in Region 6 from Terrace to Rupert
~ lots of places in Region 7A, until Nov 20th

theres a list of a few places if you'd like to shoot anything smaller than a 4 point mulie up into November
