This year was our second hunting year in bc. Me and four other friends(only two of us are hunters) packed our stuff and headed to EK for 5 days of hunting. I have to say that I have never seen anywhere else as beautiful as the EK. we only managed to get two spikes but these are our first animals and I couldn't be happier not to mention that they have the best meat I have ever tasted. We met many nice people that helped us with the area. I have to also thank all the people here who gave me pointers on where to go. I am not much of a story teller so here are some pics..

these are the two little guys we got

It is good to have a few hands around, specially when you have to carry the deer for 1 kilometer :-D

We saw three bucks on the far ridge which looked pretty good, but we couldn't get to them, maybe next year

Congrats on a couple bucks! I bet they are tasty. Just a suggestion for next time, if you field dress them before you pack them out it makes life a lot easier. And by that I mean lighter. Don't forget the quicker you cool the meat the less likely you are to have any spoil on you. Congrats again on a successful hunt!

Great Job Shrek! Those do look tasty, although you will need lots of meat to feed the pygmie packing crew!

You don't want those little guys turning on you and shrinking your head!

Or "wanted" on a Canada wide warrant ?

Sounds like a successful trip, nothing like learning a new area.
