Hey guys,

Well my 13 year old sister, now known as Duck Bandit, has been learing the game of waterfowling and shooting for the past two years. She has been shooting a 20 guage single shot Rossi for these past two years, but has now been introduced to the 12 guage family.

This past summer/fall during grouse season, Catharina (Duck Bandit) was given my grandfathers 60+ year old hand-made double barrel to pull the trigger on, and she was instantly hooked. Since then, she has had many opportunities to take practise shoots in the bush to get comfortable with the gun, and she is AWESOME! Catharina has one great shot, and the gun works good for her considering she is a lefty.

She even was able to shoot a grouse last weekend out in the bush with her new gun! She is really excited for the opener tomorrow, and we have her loaded with some good 2-3/4" 1-1/8oz. #2's to play with.... So all three of us (dad, me, catharina) have one good day planned out for tomorrow!!

Here is Catharina's and My grouse from last weekend:

Good luck to everyone tomorrow!! Hope you guys and girls have a fun and safe day!

Welcome Duck Bandit. Time to join the site and find a suitable joke to tell.

Congratulations on the grouse. They are good eating.
