Please vote "NO" to the national park proposed for the Ashnola. If it goes ahead, we will lose all of our hunting rights in the area.

Just what you guys need...A National Park, Banff style.....To go with the bumper to bumper traffic snarled streets, thousands of seasonal recreationalists pulling boats and trailers, who can't drive a sharp stick though soft SHAT, going on wine tours and thinking they are king of the world....

Not sure of wha tthe proposed boundaries etc were/are, but voted against it, just for you F-D.....

I was in that area on the weekend and was wondering what all the NO PARK signs along the highway were about. I think I only seen one yes sign out of a hundred NO. So I guess the locals are against it also

I see that the spokeslady for the "pro" side is really concerned about "all the new people moving into the area" and "the sensitivity of the ecosystem".....she is a REAL "oldtimer" as she moved there 17 years ago......never f**king fails and the spokeslady I called and spoke with on the "Flathead" park proposal was another, with a foreign accent and she told me that she had lived here for "ten years"...........

I also see that "grazing" will be allowed and, as we all know only TOO well, SOME will be allowed to hunt there, as well............

Well, until such time as we BC-born people begin to stand tall and DEMAND our birthrights, this sort of travesty will continue. That is not "politically correct", but, it is the simple truth.

NO "national parks" in BC, NO special "rights" to jacklight and slaughter and blockade and NO more outsiders telling us what to do!!!!!!

What sucks is they interview people that do not live in the area. And these are the people that think it is a good thing. I used to have a map of their proposal. I will see if I can find it.

Stupid online pole, I must have voted 12-15 times over and it kept tallying the votes on the "No" side. hopefully they dont look into the I.P. addresses for validation.

Talk about a flawed vote......oh well we win!

Does anyone have a link to some hard facts about the park, or some compiled reasoning for and against? It must have been proposed for some reason, but all I've seen of the matter so far is a shouting match between YES! and NO!
I'm genuinely curious about what the objective implications are, from both sides.

You really are ****ed in the head.

Half a dozen people cleaning shithouses in a national park, or logging, ranching, guiding, and agriculture with several thousand people making a living as it is now? Duh.
