Vehicle damage at skooks landing ( Kechika, Turnigan boat launch)

I had heard there may have been several trucks and boat trailers damaged on the Liard boat launch. I was just wondering if anyone had more info on this.

the damage i heard about resulted from guys parking their trucks and trailers on the gravel bar because of low water. the river rose due to heavy rains and swept their trucks away.

They left their vehicles on a gravel bar!?! Wow you know I've heard of some bad ideas but that takes the cake. Its BC and after September 1st, its gonna rain! Duh!
