4 am going in to my spot find another hunter all ready there . i know the elk move through this certian area but this guy was in before me so i gave him the choice of where he wanted to hunt. of course he wanted to go where i knew the elk were. we wished him good luck and headed in other direction.as it is getting light hear a buggle 20 min later 3 shots.found out latter that day he got a 6pt .mid morning after seeing numerous does sit to have a snack and a 3pt and 3 by 4 and 4pt run out on to the ridge across from me.one shot from 308norma mag at 150 yards i took this guys lungs out . i call him my consolation buck cuase i should have had my elk. on a positive note the hunter that got sis elk that day seemed like a good guy.this is my consolation.

my tapes a bit wide but i knocked off 1/4'' every where else i kept the tape back abit .hes thicker than last years will get a proper score in lumby
