Buck down 7- 10

Took a deer down this morning in 7-10 . It was a 2 point, good meat buck:mrgreen:

Congrads man. I shot an identical two point like yours on opening day. The meat was just put in my freezer today. Its gonna be veal good. Pardon the pun! Enjoy the feast!

I was actually done hunting for the day. It was 10:30 and my boy was loosing interest. So into the truck we go after sitting and calling for awhile. Come around a corner and I see 2 deer grab the bino's and found the 2 point the doe ran off. I climbed out of the truck and the buck started to head for the bush. Then he stopped broadside. I squeezed the trigger and let the 165 gr tripple shock do the rest. My boy wasn't to pleased, when I got out of the truck I leaned against the door to steady my shot. That 300 wsm is loud when your sitting in the passenger seat not knowing what to expect..

All in all a good day. :-D

Fillin the freezer is more important than antler size to me. First legal buck drops.

ya i agree. I took down a small 4 pnt whitetail lil while ago, good eats.. I sure have been seeing a lot of whitetail bucks lately..
