they are easy to make by someone that knows what they are doing .... the harde4st part is machining the rod and getting the fingers ... ...

Many machinists in Canada have made them ... there is even plans on several sites ...

the EZ press is great dont get me wrong ... but 6 hundy USD is a bit steep for something that costs at most 200 to make yourself ... (I paid for 3/4 acme rod 25 bucks from NIS ...square tubing, wheel etc from PA ) .... all I have to do is pay a machinist to lathe down the rod to fit my wheel and get some fingers cut... end of the day it will cost about 200 bucks
