Thanks to all who responded to my first post, this will be only my second time coming to the east Kootenays, last year we camped around Weary Creek and only took one deer (better than nothing) anyway was also wondering if there are many legal Bighorns in this area.

Not a big one, last year my was first time there and after a two hour hike up the mountain I did see two half curls,I did have a tag, as I always have one for anything open in the area I hunt but as I said previously I am just getting familiar with the area.

That's good to get familiar with an area like your doing that's a good start.

At Weary Creek this year we did 8 days earlier in Sept, there were 16 non-legal rams around and Elk were hard to get buggling but a decent amount of bulls around. Far more deer than in years past as well.
