if you are talking about the deer,,thats an easy find,, the elk was a bit harder.,but if you are talking about the 5 legged spider on one of those trees, that was a lot harder to find,,took me about 10 minutes to see him

The funny thing is..... I KNOW there is a second deer in the first pic.... but she is hiding.. She is right here ....

A lesson to all you young hunters out there... Things aren't always as you first see them. Originally I spotted these elk and was stalking up to get a good pic of the bull. When I was in the middle of the herd (literally) I decided it might be wise to do a scan for some deer. After glassing the edges of timber for a few minutes I just happened to catch darker hide at the treeline. A head popped up for a split second and I saw tine but didn't know how much. Then the head went down and I lost sight of him. I KNEW he was there but it took me almost another 15 minutes to locate him again amongst the deadfall. I couldn't get a good look at him so I slipped out of the middle of the clearing and circled a LONG ways around and snuck up into the timber and came down on the deer from above where these pics are taken. People (me included) pass by SOOOO many deer it is unbelievable. Just cus you don't see them doesn't meen they aren't there.

Here is my proof that there is another deer in the first pic. If you notice the Buck is in the same place and the doe just happens to lift her head. It's decieving how contoured these slashes are.

Her head is just below and slightly behind the buck's rear passenger's side leg. Great photo to be sure, thanks for posting.

I think those shots are great. It is so rewarding spotting deer with the binos when all others have given up thinking that there is nothing there. You said it. there is way more game there than you can see with the naked eye. Most important hunting tool is binos. The gun is just for finishing the job.
