Mcbride/Mcgregor area?

Going along on a trip up in this area in a week or so, and I thought I would ask what you guys think of it, as far as terrain, weather for this time of year, and what I should expect as far as hunting pressure, and game #'s. (First time up here) I believe you cannot transport game and/or rifles the Morkill forestry trunk road, so that pretty much scraps that area. Looks like there is quite a bit of private land up here too. Any suggestions? Anything would be appreciated!

I have heard that the Grizzly population is high around Mcbride, and there are some Elk there too, but I cant say I actually know anyone who has hunted there,,,sorry

The McGregor area is not that close to McBride. You say your "going along" so that must mean that the person your going with must have some knowledge of where they want to go??

You might get more help if you were to divulge more information yourself to show you knew what you guys are doing. Such as, what are you guys hunting for? Do you have LEH tags? etc ... you basically gave two areas that are not close together at all.

I've hunted quite a bit in McBride, what kind of info are you after?

My Uncle has a cow moose leh, and maybe the odd Mulie. A good area to set up camp, and or areas to avoid, such as private land.
