McGregor River floods hunters out!!!

Saturday night the river came up 8ft in about 12-14 hours.
The water rose over the cabs of the trucks by Tuesday morning... for a total of 11ft.For anyone interested in hunting.Total of six vehicles from the family were involved.""

I had something simular happen on Van Isle we went into an area to hunt deer and the river came up so fast that we had to drive about 2.5 k throught 4' plus of water on the way out. We were lucky that the truck never stalled out and when we got out of the water back to the highway the clutch was toast so we had to speed shift all the way into Campbell River. I can feel for these guys.

Is this the Mcregor up the pass lk rd or was this on walker crk? I guess that doesnt matter, but is that the river you speak of?
