The iron bull from S.I.R. (or Cabela's Canada) looks interesting. I've never seen one done this way, but its unique.

Before you do the Cabelas mount. Im having my moose rack mounted on a plaque by a taxidermist for $200. He is even tanning the scalp and mounting it that way to look more natural.

Those kits always look tacky, not that hard to do a nice job yourself if you take your time

I assume you have already cut the horns from the skull. If not go with the europeon mount. For just horn this looks the best.

Dont mount anything less than 52 inches. Jealousy will bite your ass.

Nice job!I have been doing them for years,I do the skull cap so that it looks like a European mount though.Cut the skull board the shape of a skull and plaster and sculp it then use leather or felt to cover.Looks pretty sweet.I got tired of doing the traditional round/oval mounts.

I would prefer to do it the traditional way, The cabelas thing looks neat but not for a moose I dont think. Is there a place to buy a started kit??
