i have too much vacation time and hunting partners can't get time off, what to do?

Go SOLO, I did yesterday and do when the time allows. Just don't take on a huge task and get out there. I've done 5 days solo, but much prefer one or two days.

Sounds like a good time to PM some of the guys on this site whose areas you might be hunting in. You might wind up with a new hunting partner.
