Took a 2 hour tour of one part of my buddy's ranch the other day. Things started out well, crossed over the cattle guard to "the field of dreams", an alfalfa field about 800-900 meters long and 300-400 meters deep ( sorry, don't know my acerage). Counted over 50 Whitetails in the field and by the end of my "tour" I was over 100 without looking to hard. They all looked like they wintered very well, with the exception of one that appeared a bit ragged. I was kind of surprised to see no Mulies, but I did manage to see 2 bears and a few coyotes. Going to try to get up to the other side next week and maybe look around for a few sheds.....never seem to find any though:( .
