Well we headed back to the cabin this past weekend to see if we could manage to fill my brothers moose tag( Cow only). So we got up before daylight and headed to our hunting spot( the same area I took my moose 2 weeks ago), when we got there we seen a moose standing on a cutblock so he took a look to see what it was and it happened to be a cow but he wanted to be sure and by the time he had figured for sure it was the moose had trotted over the hill. So he walked over to where the Moose went and when he got there the moose which we had seen was going up a cutblock on the far side of the hill, and to his right he herd another moose grunting in the trees so he made a grunt back and out came MR. Bull full throttle right at him and while this was going on he caught a glimpse of another moose threw the tree's. As the other moose was moving along he seen that it was a cow and waited for her to come into the only clearing where he could get a shot as soon as he seen her head come to the clearing he made a grunt and the moose stopped broadside at about 50 yards. So he let one fly from the 300 win mag, the bullet entered the front shoulder and was found under the skin on the opposite side, the moose just dropped on the spot. Well another great trip with my 2 brothers and memories to last a lifetime.:-D Now all the moose tags are filled and we can concentrate on bears and waterfowl.
