hey guys how far down is the tako on the blackwater? ive hunted many times but i cant seem to find it this year unless they just took the sign down?:(

It Just Depends Which way your coming from. If your coming from PG Then is Just before the hill down to the Blackwater bridge. It will be on your left. Of coarse it will be just the Opposite if coming from the Quesnel way. (Top of the Hill to the Right.) Also the Horse route Is also a good Bet. it brings you out on the Back end of the1400 rd.

Halfway up the hill from the Blackwater river is a trail (the west side of the rd) it goes way back to a Big old Grass meadow. I guess at one time There was a Small settlement there. We Called it Blackwater Charley's. There was some Nice ridge runners in there . Might be some Elk too.

PM Me if you want more info on the Area. we use to Hunt that steady. There is some old Trapper Cabins we used to stay in.
