Anyone know of cold meat lockers in the Vancouver area that take dead wild criters? I need a place to hang him out for a day. I dont have time to cut him up right now.
Thanx, Ray

I don't think you'll find anyone in the LML that will let you hang game, unless they're going to cut it for you. Empty the beer fridge and slump your Bambi in there!! It's not the best idea, but its better than having the meat go sour.

ya, it doesn't take much to make a deer disappear. A fridge would work just fine and finding one of those off of Craigs, would likely be faster than finding cold storage.

At .75 cents a pound or so a 100 pound dressed deer is only going to cost $75 to get hung, cut and wrapped. There's a few guys around that will do it. We have used a guy in maple ridge for a couple years now to deal with our moose (my hunting partners are from LML). Penguin meats in Whiterock has also cut game for us. It's great to cut your own animals, but taking care of the meat is priority number one.
