well fri morning the wife , and my 2 dogs are off to the in laws house to celebrate her birthday. i might as well bring my pack and rifle i figure. are the big boys up that way hanging out in the lower elevations yet , i only ask because the wife has for the first time expressed some interest in joining me for the hunt , and with her being disabled we are road hunting only. do i stand a chance or am i just going for a drive ?? any particular fsr's any one would suggest, we drive a jeep grand cherrokee so we can make it up almost anything. i really only know the tatton/helena lake road area as thats where my inlaws live .

I can tell you they received snow the other day so I am sure the colder weather is making them deer move down to some lower levels.

I went out for a quick hunt out Bradley Creek Road on Saturday and I saw half a dozen bucks in a two hour hike. One was a small 4x4.

bradley creek road is that off exceter?? thanks for the input guys and gals. i guesse im hoping for heavy rain , that usually brings the bucks outta the bush. then again snow makes em more trackable.
