to day mike passed my place and saw a elk on the lawn so he went got camera and shot some pic, big bull elk 6x6 with cows and calfs, he got 7 pic here is one looking at him, then tonight my dog started to bark and i looked out and there were the elk but no bull, and with in a few min he showed up, hell my cramera was in the truck and i could not get to it as the cow was 10 feet away, so i just moved and hunted for the big 35mm with the 500zoom lens and started shotting with it, till dark, the bull was running behind the cows checking them out, rutting, watched them for about a hour till it got dark, i got to the truck and used my elk cow call to stop the bull to make him look but he keep going behind the cows, was neet to see them all in the yard,,:mrgreen:
