Albino Deer

I had the sighting of a lifetime yesterday. Returning fom a hunt in the Aitken Creek area with my son, we saw a completely white whitetail deer!
Man, do I wish I could have got a photo....
I do not know if it was a true albino, but it was WHITE!!
Has anybody else here in the Peace Region ever seen one? (I have seen the photos of white moose here). Elsewhere in B.C.?

I know a man outside of Vanderhoof that has pictures of a white moose but I've never seen or heard of a white deer before ....Kewl !!

I was at Sikkani river outfitters about 20 years ago and got to look around Don Bettie's trophy room. He had a muley buck shoulder mount that was totally white. His son said it was taken in Hudson Hope in the early 60s if I remember correctly.

Back in 2000 while on a trip into Trimble lake, we saw a pure white mulie doe. Too far to tell the eye colour, but most definitely stood out like a beacon in the dark.

haven't seen a white whitetail, but have a friend who photographed an albino elk on the gatho a couple of years back.

Ive seen an albino cow moose in the Crooked lake area.

My friend lined up on a 2 point albino whitetail but just felt as if it was wrong to shoot it, plus it was skylined
