He is the story I got:

I would love to share my story of that hunt. I was actually guiding at the time, but was offered the chance to bag a Caribou in trade for my guiding services and so on the last day I capitalized on the chance. My hunter had already got his Goat, but we never harvested a Moose for him. He was exclusively bow hunting.

Hi guys... finally found the posts.
That's my Bou in the photo (Uncle Mike). Yes he was a dandy, I could not believe his body size. I got 240 pounds of straight meat totally de-boned off the old boy. The velvet was truly magnificent. We injected the antlers in camp and they made it all the way home via horse, plane, and truck totally unscathed until a few days later they started to smell and slip. I guess we never flushed out the blood with enough solution ....too bad.
I got him just east of the Spatsizi and we saw plenty of them along with Sheep and Goats as well.
By the way, the meat is divine. The benefits of an early Caribou.
