Will the Kolpin IV hold a rifle with a 50mm objective?

I'd rather trust some users point of views. Websites are not always true :icon_frow .

Another worry is that with my 22" barrel the objective lens may bottom out being so short. I guess ya could stuff something into the bottom of the boot.

i think youll be fine, ive had a 10/22 with a 40mm scope on it in there, if it doesnt always work you can take it back.

I shove an empty plastic water bottle into the end of mine to stop my short guns from sliding out of sight. Keep the cap on it so it holds it shape, cap down.

Yea I learned that the hard way last year after travelling a long distance on a very rough road. After setting up camp I pulled my rifle out to see that my scope (very old) was bent from taking a considerable beating while inside the Gun boot. I ended up stuffing a t-shirt in the gun boot to prevent that from happening again.
