Hunting Merrit area

On my many trips down to the coast I have noticed the area north of Merrit where the Pine Beatle kill Harvest area is. I have been wondering if there are any camping areas around there, to spend a couple days hunting deer.

Helmer lake, Surrey Lake all pretty good areas. Watchto the west of Helmer lake though you'll end up on Gord Garthwaites ranch land.
