Are you talking between Terrace and Kitimat? Not sure if there is another Chist Creek. In case there isn't. Alot of the roads on the east side of the highway have been deactivated quite badly. When I say badly, I mean that the water guards are made to keep people out. Dirt piled on the down road side of the guard, not on the side as usual.

I'd be looking at coming in from the eastern side of the zone!

Thanks
Just spent 3 days up there. Got it figured that its nothing but a steep climb anywhere in that zone. I seen one cranker, but he will live as long as he stays where I spotted him. Going back in a few weeks. I did go up that br 700 off the williams creek rd @ 15km, it gets you close. Looking forward to going back. Awesome country

Just, got a goat up the chist, on the onion lake side. You will a atv with tracks to get in there now. Lots of goats, at this time of the year.

That's a heck of a drive for a one day hunt just to be a spectator/sherpa! How sick are you . . . we're not looking for any additional dead weight that we can't eat?

Just got in from goat hunting the last 2 days, kind of. Yesterday was a good clear day, break down cancelled any shooting opportunity. Today it's snowing so hard we couldn't locate the goats, will have to wait it out.

I can't tell you too much about Chist as it's been a few years since I've been up there, my buddy was chasing them up there last year from the highway, didn't get one, but not for a lack of goats. He was seeing lots every day just couldn't muster the energy to get himself up there. Seems to me he was very imressed with the genetics:wink:

I'm assuming you meant "coordinates". I was going to give you some coordinates but since you offered me some first I'm all ears! You can pm or email me the goods or just swing by my house! If you swing by my place we can head over to Buford's and check out the goat as he's only minutes away.

btw. . . it's been way too long since a goat was last posted on here!

Excellent pics KK.
Always wanted a skeena goat, having mine get ruined in the fall last year gives me all the more reason to put in for one this year.
