Third entry tonight and I'm starting to feel like Jelvis, but does anyone use this for pheasants (12 gauge) and what do you think. Thanks.

Steel shot for pheasants? Why?

Why not? Just thinking when we move to Coldstream, I'd like to give it a go and I'd rather not swallow a piece of lead. By the way, regarding that Victorionox boning knife did you say flexible or semi-stiff. Couldn't find any in the city today so where do you recommend. Thanks.

makes em dead! Where I hunt you get a ducks and pheasant combo, so non-tox is the way to go. Oh, and I'd much rather bite on lead, but those days are long gone..

I use a stiff one but have used flexible ones and they are fine, although not my preference.
I usually just try to pick out any lead, and don't swallow any.
