hey

I have a question for all the whitetail hunters...which side of the hills will you be looking for deer at this time of year(north, south,etc)? and when would you say the deer start moving to their wintering grounds? this is my first time trying for whitetails this year and I am kind of clueless about their movement patterns

Probably depends on where you will be hunting .. alot of whities dont have
wintering grounds but live in the same place pretty much all year . (Ya ya I know about Christian Valley but there are lots that dont migrate there )
I always think food & water , thats all they really care about ... find the does and the bucks will be hanging around .

I mostly find them (but not always) in lower elevations than mulies.
