2-11 deer

anyone got a nice buck in 2-11 so far this season or bear? got my 1st deer last night at 100 yards shot at 7:55 and droped right where i shot it.

Youth/senior season for does is also open in 2-11 right now, hope some kids are out there!

yup, i am still youth and she was a nice sized doe, having trouble uploading the pics though, saw a 5 foot bear on friday ngiht which was opening day but passed him, but lots of does out there

im taking my little brother out to 2-11 in november for four days for his first doe draw! i only have four days to hunt with him then back to boston for the year? dont mean to hijack the thread but any suggestions or tips on your success in the area?

Thanks guys. Yea we had some nice back straps for it tonight and wow very tender. She was a very good sized doe.well it was my first time out in 2-11 but all I can say is if you go up there get a black bear tag because there are lots of bears up there and same with does and bucks

Saw 3 does,no bucks at all!!! 2-11 is not a good place for buck. It's just a waste of gas and time to go there.

I'm taking a new hunter up there this week. anyone have any local wisdom, or areas to check out? are most of the deer still at the very end of the pemberton valley still?

I was out yesterday, didn't even see any poop...and this was in an area where I've seen plenty of bucks before. I think they're still cut off by the mudslide ;)
