I am usually quite when it comes to hunters and their pictures, but this one is really pushing it for me.

There is one thing that is really disturbing on this load of crap....check out the pictures and the three hunters with their "Bears".

I know we need to stick together and all that as hunters, but there is something about the three bears in the back of the truck that is just not right. One looks like it might be legal here in BC, but the rest are bordering on the 2 yo age...if that.

The comments are the usual BS, but so is the picture...at least in my mind.

Apparently and from what I have read, this is in regard to the bears at Grand Forks which the pot growing couple were feeding.
Two options open and the easiest and obvious was to shoot them all. The second, and more interesting imo, was to allow the pot growers to continue feeding them til they hibernate, thereby allowing time to discuss and come up with a plan to deal with them come spring. Sounds reasonable and without prejudice or bias to me.
The big problem imo is, how will the law deal with those pot growing, bear feeding, dope heads?

I tell them(Anti's) all that say "Poor Bears!" "Shouldn't kill animals" everyone in society kills stuff wether they like it or not. May be a mosquito on there arm, an ant when they walk to their car.... etc.... What is the difference between killing an nuissance ant/Mos. as oppsed to a nuissance Bear? In my opinion nothing! So they are all just hippocrits! I know many anti-hunters that as soon as they have a bear problem are the first ones to want it killed, and if its on someone elses porch it shouldn't be shot?? The CO around here shot a small grizzly the second it jumped his fence, and it was doing nothing wrong other than being there, and a lady I work with who has had a grizzly hanging around hassling the neighborhood, called him and he told her that it was just doing what bears do naturally, and no need to kill it???? Definatly a double standard their!
Hardly worth wasting your breath talking to some people....! And as far as teachers, teaching Anti-Hunting GRRR!!!!! I've spoke with a few myself, and not very nicely. Opinions should be kept out of schools!

i do recall in port renfrew two years ago a guy was attack by a bear in his boat while cleaning up after a days fishing now these bears where used to getting the heads and waste from the fisherman and when fishing slow their is no food for them so they look for anything close the the area they are getting it from they don't change their habit after a winter think about it if you woke up you would remember their should be food in the fridge like their was last night? same thing they wake up and head to were they were feeding

Pondering this while chewing on a hunk of black bear salami. Wonder how my facebook page would stack up, alot of dead creatures, but my profile pic is me with my 10th black bear. Likely the fact that I've seen as many as 14 black bears in one evening of hunting wouldn't allow me to be considered into this misguided pit of mis-information.

Wonder if they have ever been close to a live bear, not one of those tourist photo ops, no, I mean really close, so you can look back into those black beady eyes long enough to wonder why you didn't bother to put a shell in the chamber. Don't suppose they have had to grab a rifle after their daughter was chased by one on here bike, or met one on the deck in the dark at only a few feet while it tore up a bird feeder.

They live in a bubble that distorts the truth, softens the facts to a point they can mold it to better fit their agenda. They are toursts who take pictures through car windows as these animals feed along the side of the road and rarely visit places that bears really live, wild bears, in numbers high enough to cause problems.

There I've ranted enough.

PS. I do feel some remorse however, I only filled one of my black bear tags this year :)
