I ran into a problem trying to get a couple of feet of fiber optic fiber... company wouldn't... couldn't ? ship it to Canada as it was deemed to be a possible component in Bomb making ! Yikes !!! No lie. I did finally get some from thae company that makes Fiber optic sights for Bows ( not a terrorist threat I guess).

E-bay sounds like a good idea. But I'd be a bit concerned with the quality of the fiber. Could be the cheap kind that gets brittle or goes opaque in the sunlight.

The communication (via -mail) was fast and continuous. The product quality is great, not the cheap stuff. It was mailed in a bubble envelope and there were absolutely no problems getting it here.
