I found this recipe a while ago and its been kicking around my desk, so I thought I would try it.. Well its pretty good.

1 c ketchup
1 c vinegar
1/2 c molasses
1/2 c honey
1/2 c br sugar
1 tsp liquid smoke
1/4 tsp tabasco sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder

Bring to boil and whisk until done to desired thickness. Store in the fridge..:-D

Watch how long you boil it..I boiled mine thinking it wasn't getting the thickness that I wanted, so a little more time and it looked good. Put it in the fridge overnite and it was as thick if not thicker than molasses. So guessing about 20mins should do it..

by no means i'm good at this but i think a bit of garlic and more honey will make this even better.

I'm going to try this but instead of tabasco and onion powder and vinegar I'm going to sautee 2 cups of chopped onions and a couple of jalapenoes in a big skillet, covered, with a tbsp of oil until soft and then add the rest and simmer for 30 or so. Then let it cool and run through a blender. Hm maybe fresh garlic not powder...
