Opening day (youth season)

went around christian valley looking for white tails but because of the ugly weather, we didn't see much in the bush, seen alot of grouse and turkeys. shot this guy at around 4 o'clock when the weather calm and the sun came out. shot him at around 125 yards with my .270. i would like to thank d6dan for all the tips as well as hunting bc members for there tips...
later after we left for home our buddies stayed there with there youths and shot a beautiful whitetail buck, congratulations to them. its been a good start for the season.

thank you HBC members.. the deer taste great, my mom just made some kababs and they taste delicious with raita (yogurt) this muley almost tastes just as good as the whitey....
this was my third buck, my second muley..however it was a first for my friend (with the whitey). we might be going for another muley this week in region 3 near cache creek or lilloet...any tips???
