Does anyone know if the Rapid River off the Dease River is boat-able in August or at all?

We tried once, didnt get far. More of a creek than a river.

Really? What time of year? Looks like a fairly major tributary on maps.

Can't say I know the river you're talking about. From what I hear, from the north end of the Lake to the Dease river crossing on hwy 37 is a pretty tough go right now.

Been past the Rapid many times years ago but I would say its boatable with those smaller rock crusher boats. That area is good moose hunting for sure maybe some sheep if you want to walk.
