Does anyone know what the depth is in the narrows of Alouette Lake? The family is thinking of putting their boats on trailers and putting them in the lake for the weekend. The draft of my I/O leg is 3.5 -4'. Thank you......Never been on the lake, any other info would be great.

Also can you park trucks and trailers overnite there? One of the boys says that the parking ticket is only valid till 2300 hrs (1100pm). Any one have experience with this.

Not sure about depth at the narrows, it's a deep lake. However be careful about coming in to shore at the north end, they never removed the stumps after logging and some are less than a foot below the surface.

You will be fine just stick to the right of the buoy. Watch out at the end of the lake it gets shallow there if your planning on going to shore

As other replies said, there are stumps and logs just above and below the water line (depending on reservoir level) on approach to the beach at the north end.

Proceed slowly and stick to the channel formed at the river mouth. The water in the channel is usually clear enough where you can see 4 to 5 feet down.
