Pellet Pistol Hunting

I'm having a hard time getting a straight answer... Is it legal to carry and hunt with a pellet pistol for Grouse?

No, it isn't. The BC hunting regulations specifically prohibit hunting with any sort of pistol.

a friend of mine talked to a gamey last year and asked about using a pellet rifle he said it was legal but not reccomended. pistol is not legal
