Great to get out again ...test out my knee ...spooked up a few deer ...one had some bone ..not time to get much of a look at how big....it was a little hot out for my liking but whadda you do .

Good luck to all I'm off this weekend to set-up camp for this years hunt and scout Elk in West Kootenays, been scouting em all summer, weather is starting to cool a bit maybe start getting some snow at elavation.

Just got back from first bow hunt, saw a few does, spot and stalked a buck but couldnt quiet close the gap enough with a bow, good to get out there chasing with more than just binos.

out today ...4 bucks sighted ....2 big assed 2 pts ..1 dink 2 pt and one bigger one i couldnt count the pts ..but a decent buck for sure ...off in the morning again to see if i can get a better look ... cant beat the rainy days for hunting...blanket of fresh snow in the mountains today .
