Saw a nice 6 point elk and guns gettin confiscated yesterday just north of John. No details, just know season opens today but it was open 2 1/2hrs north. Was around mid-day and loaded whole. Could have been legit I guess, but will have to wait and see. Not sure if it would be normal procedure to take it while they conduct the investigation or not (verify gut pile location etc). If it was legit I'd sure be upset, if not legit....yous get what you deserves.
