My brother in law and myself were out tonight after supper for a look around and saw a few deer including these two. Sorry for the grainy video they were a couple hundred yards away and my camera was zoomed in full..

Both great deer. The cranker is a buck of a lifetime for sure. Are you going to arrow him today or TTSX him on the 10th. Best of luck getting that guy down. Look forward to the story and the pics.

yes I'll admit I sarcasticly called it decent :) I'd love to shoot one like that one day.
Unfortunately I'm not elligible to hunt that fellow :cry: That there is an example of Saskatchewan genetics. All I can hope is that my hunting partner or brother in law go after him with the earn a buck program.. (he's in one of the CW zones) He's escaped a few seasons but he's living dangerously close to a road right now!
I'd love to wander around there and look for sheds..

When I watched the video on the computer I thought there was no sound, my neice had ear buds plugged in:wink:

I hope you enjoyed watching it, I sure enjoyed seeing him and glad to catch him on video. I'm pretty sure he's a 5x4 after watching a few times, hard to get a count on them when they're always moving like that. We saw a couple smaller ones after those two one of which had a sticker point, it was getting dark so I tried to skyline them, only got one still pic as they took off..

Good luck during the season..

"Dink" buck comes to mind.....

...And very quickly VANISHES!
That reminds me of a pair of mulie bucks I watched one August morning, the smaller one was a decent four point like the "little" one, and very much dwarfed by Mr. Big.

We'll back in BC now to get ready for my season. I finally got a chance to read this years Sask regs and the two bucks are not in a CW zone, lotto only.
What would a buck like that score?
Now to try and find on in BC like that :)
