Now why would someone go to the trouble of sedating a good sized bear like that and tagging him with a 'do not eat' tag? Disease?

Regardless, it's a nice bear.

My guess it was a town bear that had been moved.

Not supposed to eat animals that have been recently drugged.

No comment on the bear. I never got that far. Turned it off.

What I don't understand is why hunting video makers have to have that irritating distorted guitar shredding noise on as background.

"bunch'a old geezers you guys are"

Well yes. And I've been a hard rock fan for over 40 years. I saw The Cream in 1968 and was listening to Black Sabbath before half of the members here were born. I'm not opposed to heavy metal. I still like it.

But I hate shitty sound track music. An acquaintance makes documentary and corporate videos and he gets his background music from a source that has a catalogue of canned "mood" music. He can get prepared sound that is supposed to be "calming," "moody," "thoughtful," "exciting," "dramatic," "sentimental" and what not.

It drives me nuts. It is so tacky and transparent I squirm when I hear it.

You know what is good soundtrack music?

Something you don't even notice is there but moves the plot along. Watch a good movie and you'll see what I mean.

Sorry for the hijack. This should be in pet peeves, not the mainland hunting forum. Rant over.

Sorry man. I shouldn't get so worked up over something silly like bg music. As a musician though, when I hear something that bad out of context it drives me nuts!
