Do you bring along anything unique while away hunting ?
Do your kids make you a good luck charm ?
Does the wife sneak something in your pack ?

Here's mine.....
I bought a wall tent from a hunting buddy many years ago and unfortuneatly we lost him to cancer a few years back. We have a laminated photo of him on one of our horse pack hunts and we hang it in our wall tent annually as a reminder of our good times before and the good times to come. We like to think he's our good luck Charm and camp protector and so far he's lived up to the deed !!

I always take a picture of my kids with my digital camera before I leave on an extended trip. Looking at their beautiful faces always makes me smile.

My wife writes me little notes and hides them in my gear when I go guiding!

Haha I buy a moose tag every year that I don't seem to need does that count? Seriously though sitting in the woods by myself seems quite spiritual to me and I always feel a little closer to lost love ones when I'm out there. I don't bring a reminder but I take time to remember.

At my age, I rely on my failing mind & senses to such a degree when I'm hunting and in the bush, I have no time or room to be sentimental. I just concentrate at getting what I'm doing at that moment done. Maybe turn up the hearing aids a bit, but that's all. Lol.

I have a tin of smoked oysters as a good luck charm, it started a couple years ago when my cousin put a bunch of canned goods in my pack as a joke to weigh me down. turns out that day i shot a nice 5x5.

My daughter made this plastic craft thing out of beads that you put in the oven and melt them together. 3"x3" and thin so easy to pack. Has a big red heart and says I love you. She says it will bring good luck and keep me safe wherever I go. I beleive it.

My daughter made me the same thing, one for fishing(stays in the boat), and a smaller one for hunting. First time out with the fishing "charm" we had our limit (8 salmon) in less then 2 hours!! Hope the hunting one works as well!!
