Map including Private Land

Has anyone ever bought a map with "private land" shown on it : to see where the ranches in the area?

They're not cheap by any means. I assume you're talking about the Peace. Corlane's has them in DC and they're generally called Land Status Maps. Good luck.

Go to the GeoBC gateway (http://archive.ilmb.gov.bc.ca/dm/wms/index.html) and scroll down to Land Ownership and Status. It's not perfect since freehold and leasehold show up together but it's a start.

They are called land title maps. They have all 1/4 sections marked on them with the names of each farmer that owns each 1/4 section. They are about $80 a piece and there are 3 of them that covers all the Peace region. You can get these maps from McElHanney's.
