Hudson's Hope area?

I'm working in the hudsons hope area for a couple weeks and I'm wondering if most of the land is all private? I've been seeing quite a few nice bucks around and am going to get my bow sent up here but it seems like most of the areas are all private property. I also have an elk draw for 7-20a in december and since I've never hunted The area I was wondering how to go about finding out who allows hunting on their land? Thanks for any info

start knockin on doors. go to different sports shops. stuff like that

You're just going to have to ask people. I have found, when up in those parts hunting, that people tend to be very gracious about letting you hunt on their property, as long as you're respectful when asking. This is particularly true of the elk draw, as they don't see them as anything more than they would your typical vermin would be looked at most places.
