Lillooet river rd...

Hoping to do some scouting between Pemberton and Harrison but was recently told you can't get through on the Lillooet river rd? The mapbook says otherwise. :confused:

Check out this site. It says it is closed because of a slide with no anticipated opening date. Good luck

Harrison West Closed to all through traffic at 60 km. Road expected to open late August pending reconstruction of slide section and unsafe road conditions. Traffic wishing to access Port Douglas or destinations north should use the In-SHUCK-ch FSR accessed from vicinity of Pemberton and Lillooet Lake. Please obey signs and drive with caution, observe the "no stopping" advisory due to rockfall hazards between 52 km and 60 km as a result of the August 2009 Bremnar Creek Forest Fire. Extremely rough and hazardous section from 55km to 58km. For information beyond 73 km and through-access to Pemberton, see the Squamish Forest District's road information.

Sept 7 to Dec. Expect road delays from 1.8km to 3km for road construction

its a little hairy but you can get thru! talked to 2 guys which have done so, one of which did it with a crew cab long box on saturday

you can get through now but its a tight squeeze on one side and no room for mistakes on the other
