kind of crazy follow link say'a campfires are okay in prince george and northwest but you can not go into the bush!!! here on the island we still have campfire ban but we can use the bush!!!

I think the bush restrtictions are just for particular areas of the region.

They've been hauling logs all week down the fsr I live on. I'm an hour south of PG.

There was a fire in my hunting area yesterday ,the chopper kept flying over my camp ???.
I guess they wanted to know if I had a fire going ,well I will tell you that I would not even think of having a fire its so dry in my hunting area.

Guess they had to check anyways ,good for them.

Dam I was hoping for the opening on the island to extend down to Strathcona. Oh well guess we'll wait a couple more weeks and see what happens.
