Talk me out of it, please. I don't really *need* this since I have a receiver mount 8000 lb winch already... but dang, 100 bucks shipped. This might be handy for hoisting critters or loading into the truck.

Hate to tell you this, but a guy at work took one of these apart, and said that the Champions have better planetary gears than the Warns.

I don't think I can talk you out of spending $100 on this VITAL item. Better order one before midnight tonight!

Good thing I don't have a Costco card.

I have one mounted in my box.
I slide a sheet of plywood out and suck the moose right in.
I use a portable charger for a power source.
Well worth the money spent.

Yeah, the Champions are good units. Warn hasn't been making that great of products for a few years, mass production and cost cutting gets the best of everyone. LR

I've had one for a couple years. Great winch, good power, easy to move around from one vehicle to another or for an off vehicle location using a battery. Never a problem. I would not hesitate to buy it again. Just pay cash so the wife doesn't see the credit card bill:-D

No... not going to be home after next week (finally get to hit the bush!) so I wouldn't be around for the delivery. Might pick one up later if it's still available and I know where I'm going to be for a couple of weeks...
